Maintaining Your Blog

As an ADD Coach I have come to learn that My ADD Blog is a great marketing tool. It's a great way to connect with readers and let them know who I really am. From what I have researched about blogging I have learned that blogging 3 times per week is optimal. There have been very few weeks where I have made 3 blog entries. If I make 1 post a week I am very happy.

I just came across the post Making a Schedule by fellow coach Kerch McConlogue. She talks about a service called I Blog for You in which bloggers pay somebody else to blog for them. Wow, what a great service for people who want have blogs but don't really want to do the writing. There's one way of making it easier for people to maintain their blogs.

Tara, you're right that blogging several times a week is better than only once, but I'm a firm believer in even occasional articles that have value to your readers. Three times weekly is ideal, sure, but real life has a way of intruding on creative writing time. My friend and I were brainstorming about how to get her blog up and running when she had no time and no interest in writing it - and I Blog For You was born. It's proving to be a good solution, especially for individual professionals who don't want to take billable time to do the research and writing. As I remind my clients, do what you do best and delegate the rest.
